Microsoft is changing the names, timing and functionality of the next two releases.

Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.1 is now named Microsoft Dynamics AX 5.0 and is scheduled for release in second half 2008.
Microsoft Dynamics AX 5.0 is now named Microsoft Dynamics AX 6.0 and is scheduled for release in 2010.
These changes enable Microsoft to deliver high-priority functionality sooner in Microsoft Dynamics AX 5.0, while providing an even richer release in Microsoft Dynamics AX 6.0.
Dynamics AX 4.0 extensions, including CRM integration and Lean Manufacturing methodology integration are scheduled for release in Q4 2007.
